Camp Sunrise – Holiday Camp

Camp Sunrise is run by The Salvation Army and is a member of Christian Camping International, Fellowship of Christian Camps BC, and is also an accredited member of the British Columbia Camping Association. It offers children a unique opportunity to grow in a safe and nurturing community.

This summer, The Salvation Army Chilliwack sending a group of kids ages 7-12 to attend Camp Sunrise from July 17 – 22, 2017.

Santa Shuffle 2016

We had a great time at Santa Shuffle and Elk Walk on Saturday, December 3rd at the Townsend Park. A wonderful turnout, raising funds for the Foodbank. Thanks to all who brave the 5 K run or the 1 K walk! Thank you, the Thank you Santa and Rudy (Rudolph), for stopping by and encouraging us!!!

Shred-a-thon December 2016

Great time at the Shred-a-thon on Saturday, Dec 3rd at the Cottonwood Mall! We raised $2121 and brought in many boxes of non-perishable food. Thanks to the City of Chilliwack, Cottonwood Mall and Emterra!!

    Inspired by a class discussion and project about privilege versus hardship, 12-year-old Santhosh, and his classmates Kostas and Navid, collected more than 70 bags of clothes that were donated to The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Newmarket, Ont., to help people experiencing homelessness.
