The Care and Share Center in Chilliwack located on Yale Road is offering a one week summer camp at Camp Sunrise located near Gibsons, BC.
Camp Sunrise is run by The Salvation Army and is a member of Christian Camping International, Fellowship of Christian Camps BC, and is also an accredited member of the British Columbia Camping Association. It offers children a unique oppurtunity to grow in a safe and nuturing community.
Salvation Army will be sending a group of kids ages 7-12 to attend Camp Sunrise from July 26-31 2010. This action packed week will cost $300.00, however Salvation Army is willing to assist families that are unable to pay the full amount. Salvation Army will also be providing transportation for students to and from camp at no additional cost. Registration forms can be picked up at either The Chilliwack Care & Share Centre( 45746 Yale Rd) or at The Salvation Army Chilliwack Community Church(46420 Brooks Ave). It is Salvation Army’s goal to see 30 elementary students attend camp this year from the Chilliwack area.
