Jamaica 2011

The Salvation Army Jamaica Division

On March 14, 2011 a joint missions team of 22 representing The Salvation Army Chilliwack Community Church and Highroad Academy were sent to Top Hill Corps, Jamaica located 3 hours from Montego Bay.  After a 2 week excursion they have returned to Canada safe and blown away by the faithfulness of God.  On Sunday April 3,2011 the team shared at The Salvation Army Chilliwack Community Church about the many experiences they encountered while on the missions field.  It was so encouraging to hear and see photos of what God did in the country of Jamaica through our team.  We trust that the seeds of love and hope they planted while on their travels will grow and multiply in the lives of the Jamaican people.  We welcome them home and commend them for fulfilling the great commission.

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20
