ONLINE DONATIONS
Online donations are handled through the national Canadian Salvation Army website. To make an online donation to the Chilliwack Salvation Army, please do the following:
- Visit http://salvationarmy.ca/donate/
- Select General Donation and complete the form as instructed
- Under the What We Do heading, select the Designate My Gift option
- Enter Chilliwack, BC in the box provided
Donate by mail or in person
Donations of money can be made directly to the office of the Care and Share Centre Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. Donations can be made by cash or cheque, payable to the Chilliwack Salvation Army, and these can be receipted for income tax purposes. Food Donations
You can donate food during any of our regular food drives through out the year, or at a food drive sponsored by one of our kind supporter businesses or oganizations. Donations can also be made directly to the office of the Care and Share Centre Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. Clothing and Household Items
Donations of clothing, linens, house wares, furniture and small (countertop) appliances are gratefully accepted. Donations may be dropped off at the Thrift Stores or at Cottonwood Mall during Blue-Bag-It days (The last Saturday of each month excluding December).
If you are not able to drop off your donation, please call the Care and Share Centre weekdays between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm to arrange for our truck to pick up your items. Pick ups are done 9:00 am - 2:00 pm, Tuesday - Thursday, in the Chilliwack and Sardis areas. Other areas such as Rosedale, Ryder Lake, Promontory, Greendale, Cultus Lake and Yarrow have pick ups available usually on the 2nd last Thursday of each month. Please call ahead to reserve a space.
